Cards Against Humanity: UK Edition Review
I came across Cards Against Humanity at a friends poker night, after everyone was skint, the table was presented with this sinister looking black box and everyone was intrigued about the contents. The only way I can describe this simple card game is awkward and inappropriate, yet absolutely hilarious!
You find yourself laughing at things that are so outrageous that if you were to whisper the same in public, the SAS would be all over you in a second and you would be executed where you stand.
As mentioned the game is really simple, each round, one player asks a question from one of the black cards, and everyone else answers with their funniest white card. Some black cards require the use of two white cards.
Since its launch there have been a few updates packs, which I am yet to take advantage of, there are also variations for different countries, including US and Canadian cards that have a few dedicated Canadian jokes.
These crazy cards make for the perfect after dinner experience if you’re up for a right laugh, just be sure to warn anyone who is easily offended.
Interestingly, a full pack of cards is available to download completely free under a Creative Commons license. They say it will take you about an hour to print and prepare a full pack and can be achieved for about £10. Visits their site to download a PDF of rules and printing instructions.
Personally I love the look of the black box and the look on peoples faces when you bring it to the table, Cards Against Humanity: UK edition is available from Amazon UK for about £20.00 – ENJOY!!!
