The Nokia Lumia 930 WindowsPhone is Nokia’s top end or flagship Windows Phone 8.1 phone. It’s available in the usual crazy highlighter green and orange bodies just like the Lumia 630, this eye-catching handset boasts a clear 5in OLED display with a hi-def resolution of 1,920x,1080, a 20-megapixel PureView camera, 32GB of on-board storage and its internal workings are among some fastest available for a WindowsPhone handset.
Compared to the previous flagship models, the 920 and the 925, one thing clearly hasn’t changed, is the build quality, it’s a little chunky and can be a little slippery to operate without a case, but if you dropped it, it would more than likely break the concrete, its solid!
This beast of a phone packs the Nokia Camera app which is complimented by a nifty 20-megapixel sensor. Nokia has a recent run of some superb camera, fronted by the Lumia 1020 and its massive 40MP camera.
The battery life is great and blows the like of an iPhone out of the water, during a weekend in London, I managed to get 42 hours of average operation from the battery, and this is helped by the OLED tech used in the screen, when a portion of the screen is black, it’s actually switched off completely.
As for the operating system, not much has changed there but it runs Windows Phone 8.1 with no problems, the apps are snappy to load and gaming is effortless.
If you’re looking for a phone that’s solid, runs well and offers good battery life, it’s well worth considering the Nokia 930
