Sony have done well here to pack some great featured into this wall mountable sound bar.  Its looks great, sounds great, but price wise is a little on the high side when compared to other manufactures.  The tones are crisp over a large volume range and the sub does well to deliver a deep rich experience, especially when your blowing up buildings on Battlefield 4.
The bar has a superb range of inputs and outputs, ready to fit straight in with most household set-ups, we found that the easiest method was a simple optical lead from the rear of a TV straight into the sound bar – this way whatever is on the TV is received by the bar. A great feature is the remote which can be programmed to support your TV, that way you are not hunting around for multiple remote’s to get your sound on.
We particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth NFC feature – we placed a Nokia 1520Â onto the centre of the bar and within seconds the two were paired and we listened to some tunes via XBOX music and Spotify.
One thing you cannot go wrong with is the sub-woofer – everyone hates wires all over the place, luckily the HTCT660 has a wireless sub meaning you can conveniently tuck in the corner without compromising on the sound quality. Â The only real issue we had was the menu which is hard to navigate because of the tiny single line display on the front of the unit – we felt the unit could of done with an on screen menu.
